The Magnum was designed for highway work and other sites where continuous loading and spreading is needed. Dump trucks can pull in ahead of the unit, dump their load, and leave while the Magnum continues to spread the material.


CAS MG Features

Radio Remote Control (standard)
The Magnum comes standard with remote control for the operation of the feed and placing conveyors and the remote drive system. This feature is considered one of the most advantageous because it gives the operator a better view while placing material and mobilizing the unit.It allows the operator to work from any vantage point for better safety and accuracy.

Anti-Bridge Box – 25 ton
The MG’s 25 ton reload box is designed with steep sides and a wide feed belt to make feeding possible with more difficult products such as soils, compost and mulches. The wider belt system is designed to pull heavier loads and maintain a steady metered flow for continuous operation while truck after truck load are keeping the unit reloaded.

Worm Gear Pivot Assembly
The MG is built with a clean and precise worm gear pivot assembly that allows accurate and responsive movement while placing material. The noticeable benefits are ease of maintenance, and safe and responsive operation.

Placing Conveyor
The MG uses a tail powered drive system which keeps the weight of the conveyor near the pivot point. The lighter conveyor arm makes movement more responsive and less wearing on the pivot assembly. The speed of the belt has also been increased along with a higher operating angle for greater distance.

Pride in Workmanship
At CAS we pride ourselves in the smallest details. For example: all fabricated components are individually powder coated prior to assembly so all surfaces are protected. Though this may not be noticeable, we feel that details such as these will increase the life and durability of your investment.

Super Track Feed Belt
The CAS's new belt system has an effective width of 24 inches, the widest in the industry. By eliminating the metering beam and widening the belt, we are now capable of spreading a wider variety of products such as soil, composts, and mulches with greater ease and speed. The speed and power of our new design also allows for quick offloading of materials when simply dumping loads on site.
